Orion NCM simplifies managing network configuration files in multi-vendor network environments with a highly intuitive web interface that offers point-and-click simplicity and easy access to configuration data. Plus, Orion NCM continuously monitors device configurations and provides immediate notification of configuration changes to help you resolve problems before they impact users.

With Orion NCM, you can quickly fix issues without having to manually Telnet or SSH into devices to change configuration parameters. Orion NCM also makes it easy to generate and analyze compliance reports to confirm that your devices are meeting regulatory and corporate standards.

Version 7 of Orion NCM delivers enterprise-level network configuration and change management (NCCM) capabilities at a highly affordable price. New features in version 7 include:

• Workflow for Approvals – request approval before making sensitive changes
• Improved Unified Web Console – for those users that have integrated SolarWinds NCM with Network Performance Monitor (NPM), the standalone website and integrated website have been merged
• Node Management Improvements:
  • Users of NCM as a standalone product can now configure the discovery of their network via the LUCID web interface
  • Users of NCM as a standalone product will now benefit from the feature rich node management capabilities including grouping and properties
  • Users of NCM integrated with NPM will benefit from an easy-to-use web interface that will keep their NCM and NPM managed node lists synchronized
