Orion Modules

As well as providing device monitoring capability via ICMP and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), SolarWinds provide a range of Orion Modules to offer the ability to extend the reach of your Orion investment beyond standard Network Performance Monitor metrics. SolarWinds now has the ability to report on Servers and Applications (Application Performance Monitor), Wide Area Network performance and Voice over Internet Protocol call quality (IP SLA Manager), Wide Area Network protocols distribution and conversations (NetFlow Traffic Analyzer) and IP Address Usage (IPAM).

NetFlow Traffic Analyzer - Orion NetFlow Traffic Analyzer enables network engineers to capture continuous streams of network traffic and convert those raw numbers into easy-to-interpret charts and tables that reveal exactly how the corporate network is being used, by whom and for what purpose.

Application Performance Monitor - APM extends Orion’s powerful monitoring capabilities to applications and servers, giving you visibility into the performance of applications and the underlying operating systems and servers they run on.

IP SLA Manager - IP SLA Manager allows you to proactively analyze VoIP quality across WAN links, as well as monitor the underlying systems and protocols that the VoIP environment relies upon, providing complete integration with Orion. IP SLA Manager’s simulation-based approach with IP SLA alerts you to problems and enables you to fix them.

IP Address Manager - Orion IP Address Managercan be purchased to extend the monitoring capabilities of Orion to IP Address allocation within your network(s).
