With the Application Discovery Engine, you can automatically scan your servers, discover applications, and assign out-of-the-box monitoring templates within minutes of installation. The Community Content Sync allows you to browse, import, and upload application monitor templates from directly within Orion APM to easily monitor all of the business critical applications on your network.

Orion APM's interactive web console offers direct links to browse, download, and share application monitoring templates and scripts on thwack, making it easy for community members to benefit from each other’s custom monitors and saving everyone valuable time. This time-saving feature allows you to quickly begin monitoring your applications without requiring you to create custom monitors for your environment. Orion APM will even alert you when new templates are posted, so you can easily expand your monitoring capabilities.

No agents are needed, so deployment and maintenance are a breeze and there's no concern about slowing down your network. Additionally, the Application Discovery Engine automatically assigns out-of-the-box templates including Microsoft® Exchange, IIS, Active Directory®, and Apache. Users can also leverage Orion APM’s user-experience monitors, including HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, Microsoft® SQL Server, Oracle®, and other ODBC databases.
