This two part, four-day course covers all aspects of installing, configuring and using the Orion Network Performance Monitor, its Modules and integration with the SolarWinds Engineers Toolset.

Part 1 of the Comprehensive SolarWinds Training Program is an intensive 2 day session which deals with Orion and the Engineers Toolset. The course begins with providing an in-depth understanding of the Simple Network management Protocol and works through installing and configuring the software to end with a fully working system. The practical sessions provide hands-on experience of the main configuration tool (System Manager), the Web-based viewing functions and all the supporting utilities.

Part 2 of the course provides training on the implementation and configuration of the optional Orion Modules allowing delegates to extend the reach of Orion. Modules covered in this 2 day training include Application Performance Monitor, NetFlow Traffic Analyzer, and IP SLA Manager, Orion IP Address Management, the Enterprise Operations Console and Orion Network Configuration Manager.

Throughout the course delegates are helped to interpret the results Orion produces and encouraged to experiment with different configurations to see how they might affect the results.

The Program will equip attendees with all the SolarWinds information required to successfully negotiate the SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) accreditation. (Click here for more information on the SCP requirements)
